Inquiry Into Workforce Participation by people with a mental illness.

The Family & Community Development Committee is calling for submissions to its current Inquiry into Workforce Participation by People with Mental Illness. 

The Committee anticipates the timeframe for its tabling its report will be extended, in which case it will consider extending the submission closing date.  Until this occurs, the submission closing date is 11 November 2011.  Any extensions to the timelines and submission closing date will be publicised on the Committee website:  www.parliament.vic.gov.au/fcdc/

Grief and Mindfulness: the Zen way of turning suffering inside-out

The National Association for Loss & Grief (Vic) Inc is conducting a workshop to introduce participants to the Zen approach to loss and grief.

The workshop is designed for Counsellors, Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists, Teachers, Emergency Services staff and others in a helping role.
